Premium manuka honey business for sale – Knopf Honey Limited (in receivership)

Baker Tilly Staples Rodway, as receivers of Knopf Honey Limited, invite expressions of interest for the sale of the business, lands and assets of Knopf Honey (either in whole or part). Knopf Honey Limited is a vertically integrated manuka honey operation based in Hunterville (Rangitīkei District) with scale, export capability and strong brand credentials.

Key highlights

• Bee assets: 4,000 managed beehives across 232 apiary sites in the central and lower North Island. This offering is inclusive of its history of Manuka Honey Production, and seasonal demand for pollination hives gives prospective purchasers confidence in the business's ability to utilise the additional hive components and sustain higher hive numbers if required.

• Stock:
There is no bulk honey stock on hand.

• Facilities and people:
Extraction and storage facility in Hunterville, outsourced packing arrangements and an experienced retained team of beekeepers available to transfer to a purchaser.

• Land also available:
A 774-hectare Manuka bush block and the commercial processing facility, may be purchased together with, or separately from, the business.

• Capacity and compliance:
Processing capability supporting up to 250 tonnes per annum. UMF™ graded (5+ to 24+), BioGro organic certification, active US FDA registration and established export channels (China, USA, Switzerland and Middle East).

• Brand and IP:
Registered Knopf Honey® trademark and supporting export / compliance certificates.

• Sale timeline:
Interested parties are invited to submit their ‘Expressions of Interest’ by 4pm, 26th Nov 2025. IM provided on receipt of a signed confidentiality agreement.
