Introducing the Baker Tilly Staples Rodway Taranaki Business Computing Services (IT) team:
Greg
Greg is our Business Development Manager. His role involves connecting with businesses to understand their unique IT challenges and provide tailored solutions that improve efficiency and reduce downtime. Greg enjoys building relationships with business owners and decision-makers, recognising that trust takes time - and he’s always happy to have a few meetings over coffee to ensure the right fit. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking up the mountain, supporting his son’s kart racing, watching Formula 1, and traveling with his family.

Louis
Louis is the Service Delivery Manager, overseeing all IT services for both internal teams and IT Managed Services customers. He is dedicated to ensuring clients receive outstanding service and effective IT solutions that drive business success. Working closely with the engineering team, Louis designs technology-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen data security, and expand capacity. He also manages procurement and vendor relationships for the Business Computing Services team. Outside of work, Louis enjoys hiking and camping with his family.

Olivia
Olivia is our Helpdesk Team Lead and is passionate about making tasks easier for clients - whether by resolving issues or finding more efficient ways to work. She especially enjoys visiting clients in person, where she can gain insights that aren't always apparent over the phone. Olivia has been with the firm for five years and specialises in supporting medical clients, particularly GP practices. With 12 years of experience working with Medtech and Indici, she has a deep understanding of their systems and workflows. Outside of work, Olivia enjoys spending time with and riding her horse.

Tony
Tony is a Senior Engineer and Project Manager and has been a key part of the team for the past 22 years. Before joining the firm, he worked in IT for Royal Mail in Farnborough, UK. Initially brought on to establish the helpdesk, Tony has since taken on various roles and now focuses on streamlining IT projects to reduce stress for clients. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching and supporting his son's football and futsal teams, playing social futsal, and getting outdoors for camping, biking, and walking.

Matthew
Matthew has been a valued member of IT team since the mid-1990s, bringing decades of experience and a deep knowledge of IT systems and best practice. A dedicated IT Engineer, he plays an integral role in our client’s IT and cyber efficiency successes. Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending quality time with his family.

Rory
Rory is the Networking & Security Lead and has been with the firm for nearly 14 years. He started on the helpdesk, supporting clients with their basic IT needs, and has since progressed to developing critical systems that businesses rely on daily. His expertise spans Networking & Security, Microsoft Cloud, Consultation & Delivery, and mid-level programming. Outside of work, Rory enjoys spending time with his family, playing squash, and staying active.

John
John is a Server Engineer focused on proactive maintenance and system improvements to prevent IT issues before they arise. John is also a certified service technician for both Windows and Mac operating systems. Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids or hitting the trails on his mountain bike.

Brett
Brett is a Desktop Engineer at where he has been troubleshooting hardware and software issues and performing system maintenance since 2021. He is dedicated to ensuring smooth IT operations for clients and colleagues alike. Outside of work, Brett enjoys playing tennis, going to the gym, traveling, and spending time with family.

Rob
Rob focuses much of his time on assisting clients to develop and implement cloud computing strategies, and as Director of the Business Computer Services division, his internal roles include team leadership and large-scale IT project management. When he’s not problem solving, he’s spending time with his wife, grandkids, walking the dog or enjoying local music and theatre events.

Karin
Karin is responsible for Procurement and Billing Administration, ensuring clients receive the right products and services at the right time and price. She plays a key role in the firm’s continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance the client experience. Karin brings a strong background in supply chain management, complemented by training in process mapping and development. Outside of work, she enjoys catching up with friends and family, music, entrepreneurship, and exploring New Zealand’s beautiful outdoors.
