Andrea Stevenson

Human Resources, Director, Hawke's Bay

Andrea is the highly qualified head of our Baker Tilly Staples Rodway Hawke’s Bay Human Resources consulting division.

As an experienced human resources, organisational development and organisational psychology consultant, she focuses on improving performance. Do you need help with developing, managing and growing the people in your business? Andrea has the expertise to help you build a cohesive team of high performers and also develop dynamic leaders who are in tune with and know how to get the best out of their people.

Much of her work centres on firstly ensuring a good “fit” of employees in your business and then helping maximise their potential. Her work also includes one-on-one coaching, leadership workshops, team mapping and facilitations, and the use of various diagnostic and profiling tools.

Prior to joining Baker Tilly Staples Rodway Hawke's Bay, Andrea worked as an organisational psychology consultant specialising in personality profiling and capability assessment. She has worked with individuals, teams and leaders. Prior to this work, she has held roles in human resources and career coaching.

  • Masters Degree in Social Science (awarded with Honours) with a double major in Human Resources and Organisational Psychology
  • A member of the Human Resource Institute of NZ (HRINZ)
  • Certified Member of the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership
  • Non-practicing principal member with CA ANZ
  • Accredited user of Hogan Assessment Systems
  • Accredited user of The Leadership Circle® 360 and culture tools
