Richard is Director in charge of international services and taxation with over 20 years experience providing solutions to clients. Richard is qualified in both law and accounting.

Richard is lead taxation advisor and mentor to significant privately and family owned businesses located throughout New Zealand and offshore. His experience in international tax, governance, ownership structures and succession planning together with prudent management contribute to quality decisions which complement the contributions of business owners, executives and management. Property owners and high net wealth individuals with offshore investments are also a strong feature of Richard’s client base.  

He has personal connections with many independent member firms of Baker Tilly International, in particular throughout the Asia Pacific region. Richard facilitates and connects clients with international requirements to resources within our international network.
 
Richard is also a regular speaker for Baker Tilly Staples Rodway Waikato presenting at numerous seminars including presentations for the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, New Zealand Property Investors Association, Employers & Manufacturers Association, as well as many client, bank and staff seminars.
