Richard is a Director in charge of international services and taxation with more than 20 years' experience providing solutions to clients. He is qualified in both law and accounting.

He advises a diverse range of clients ranging from multi-national corporates, middle-market offshore companies with New Zealand operations, high-net-wealth individuals and many successful privately owned New Zealand businesses operating across the country and abroad. His experience in international tax, governance, ownership structures and succession planning, together with prudent management, contribute to quality decisions that complement the contributions of business owners, executives and management.

Richard has personal connections with many independent member firms of Baker Tilly International, in particular throughout the Asia Pacific region. He facilitates and connects clients with international requirements to resources within our global network.

He is also a regular speaker for Baker Tilly Staples Rodway Waikato at numerous seminars including presentations for the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, New Zealand Property Investors Association, Employers & Manufacturers Association, as well as many client, bank and staff seminars.
