Shanan joined Baker Tilly Staples Rodway in 2002 after Graduating from Massey University and worked primarily in the Business Advisory Team before heading off to the UK and Ireland in 2006, and gained experience in large commercial environments primarily in the financial and management reporting areas.

He returned to Baker Tilly Staples Rodway in 2009 and continued working within the Business Advisory team - with a particular interest in implementing and monitoring Management reporting frameworks for clients and the associated tax and cashflow planning associated with this work.
