Sonia Hart

Business Advisory Services, Senior Manager, Hawke's Bay

Sonia is passionate about building strong, long-term relationships with clients and helping them achieve their business goals. With more than 20 years of experience in public practice accounting, she provides practical advice, technical expertise and personalised support tailored to each client's needs.

After completing her studies at the University of Waikato, Sonia began her accounting career with Grant Thornton in Auckland in February 2003. In 2006, she returned to her hometown of Matamata, where she continued developing her expertise with a rural accounting firm and gained extensive experience working with a diverse range of businesses and clients.

In February 2025, Sonia and her family relocated to Hawke's Bay, where she joined Baker Tilly Staples Rodway. She enjoys working closely with clients to understand their businesses, identify opportunities and support them through each stage of their growth journey.
