Hugh Lopdell

Business Advisory Services, Consultant, Wellington

Hugh merged his accounting practice, Oak Park Chartered Accountants, with Baker Tilly Staples Rodway Wellington in April 2024.

His early career was with Inland Revenue and after switching to public practice, he developed Oak Park as an innovative boutique Wellington practice with a strong emphasis on warm client relationships, quality and service. 

He specialises in the unique funding, staffing, software and regulatory aspects of the pharmacy industry and is well-known to pharmacists throughout the country through social media content and speaking engagements at national conferences. The pharmaceutical industry is complex, with few national accounting experts, so Hugh is approached regularly for advice.

Hugh’s passion is music. He splits his time between accounting and studying at Victoria University for a Bachelor of Music, majoring in composition.
