Seminar – Gaining efficiencies with AI and managing the changes
Join us at this complimentary seminar that covers implementation of AI in your workplace and how you can achieve team buy-in.
Yorb Limited senior client engagement partner Rich Marshall will discuss cybersecurity governance and policies that you should consider when implementing AI in your organisation.
Baker Tilly Staples Rodway director and lead HR consultant Andrea Stevenson will then round it off by touching on the human component of introducing AI, how change impacts team members and how to bring your people on the AI journey with you.
AI is not just a flash in the pan – it’s here to stay. Last year a report found that New Zealand workers were the third-fastest adopters of generative AI globally. They are driving the change, with 84% using it in their workplace. With predictions that up to 275 hours per worker could be unlocked annually, and annual productivity doubled, the benefits of AI are clear.
Rich has been with Yorb for more than 10 years. With a passion for understanding technology and how it can best solve business needs, he’s constantly looking for unique technological applications. Rich is Yorb's internal champion for AI and MS Co-pilot, and has recently gone so far as 3D printing an AI version of himself!
Andrea is an experienced consultant in human resources, organisational development and organisational psychology. She focuses on improving performance and has worked in the areas of personality psychology, leadership development and team development for more than 20 years. Much of her work centres on firstly ensuring a good “fit” of employees in your business and then helping maximise their potential.
Please register now to join Rich and Andrea as they bring us the the latest information in the world of Artificial Intelligence.

Women Influencing Women – Pink Ribbon Breakfast
Once again, our Women Influencing Women group is showing support for the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. Accordingly, we invite you to our Pink Ribbon Breakfast at 7.45am on Wednesday, 28 May 2025.
Please join us for breakfast treats, generously supplied by our team, and some light-hearted fun. This year we have Nicky Grundy (above), owner of Grundy Productions, who was juggling it all when a breast cancer diagnosis changed everything. She kept moving while pushing through aggressive treatment – until she realised the life she was fighting to maintain was breaking her.
In her talk, "Thank You, Cancer," Nicky shares how she chose to step away – hibernating her business, taking her kids out of school and travelling New Zealand in a tiny home. Her journey is a powerful reminder that we don’t have to wait for a crisis to start truly living.
Be sure to get glammed up in PINK for the event as there will once again be prizes for the best dressed. We are very grateful to our generous sponsors who have provided items to be raffled: The Nutrition Clinic, Total Food Equipment Ltd, Xero and Tax Traders, as well as a magnum of rosé from Craggy Range to auction off. So be sure to bring cash or a card on the day to buy some raffle tickets. As always, there will be an opportunity to purchase breast cancer merchandise.
Please feel free to bring along a colleague or friend to support this great cause.
If you are unable to attend or would like to make an online donation to claim your donation rebate, see our Women Influencing Women Pink Ribbon Breakfast page. Details of what your donation could fund are on www.pinkribbonbreakfast.co.nz.
