Craig Hamilton

Business Advisory and Specialist Services, Director, Christchurch

Craig has been a Baker Tilly Staples Rodway Director since 2013.

He has held senior roles in both public practice and commercial environments in New Zealand, Australia and Canada where he worked in business advisory and audit teams.

Craig leads the firm in the delivery of IT and Baker Tilly Staples Rodway’s Realtime web-based services to ensure that our client’s accounting and information systems are delivering accurate and efficient reports.

He is a keen competitor in Ironman and Triathlon events both here and offshore. This takes dedication and organisation, which he also brings to his work and clients.

Specialist Areas

  • Accounting and tax advice, including management and statutory accounting
  • Business structuring options, from a tax efficiency and asset protection point of view
  • Corporate advisory including forecasting, projections and budgeting, together with business and share valuations 
  • Baker Tilly Staples Rodway Realtime and Information technology requirements, specifically advising clients on the broad range of accounting software available in the New Zealand market
