Leading Taranaki business advisory firm Baker Tilly Staples Rodway have thrown their support behind the next generation of Yarrows Taranaki Bulls with a three year Ross Brown Tournament partnership. Baker Tilly Staples Rodway who provide accounting, human resources, IT, marketing, insolvency, audit and taxation services employ a staff of over 80 between their Powderham Street, New Plymouth and Miranda Street, Stratford offices.
The business will have naming rights for the Ross Brown Tournament for 2020, 2021 and 2022. Baker Tilly Staples Rodway have also become a Yarrows Taranaki Bulls Official First 23 Partner and will have their brand displayed on the upper back of the Yarrows Taranaki Bulls blindside flanker jersey in 2020.
Named after the Amber & Black centurion and All Black legend Ross Brown, the Ross Brown Tournament was first played for in 1976 to provide extra opportunities for primary school players in the region.
Nowadays the Ross Brown Tournament is played for between the zones of North, Central, West and South in a round robin format with a weight restriction. In 2020 the event will be hosted by the TET Stadium & Events Centre between Thursday October 8 and Saturday October 10.
Ross Brown Tournament participants over the next three years will receive a complimentary warm up tee thanks to Baker Tilly Staples Rodway.
